Antwerp beats Limburg (102-88) this Saturday in the Euromillions Basket League.
For Speedy Smith’s last game, Limburg started the game well but Antwerp took control of the game and it was 27-24 after the first ten minutes.
In the second quarter, both teams played well offensively and the game was tied at the break (51-51).
After the break, Antwerp started the third quarter strongly. But Limburg, managed to stay close (79-76).
A last one-sided act saw Christophe Beghin’s side made their collective strength speak (102-88).
For Antwerp, Vrenz Bleijenbergh recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Dave Dudzinski and Dennis Donkor added 15 points each.
For Limburg, Silas Melson scored 23 points. Youngster Ajay Mitchell recorded 13 points and 4 assists
This is the third victory in three games for Antwerp, while it is the second loss in a row for Limburg.
