Daniel Goethals signs in France, with Antibes in Pro B.

Daniel Goethals is leaving his post at Union Neuchâtel in Switzerland, to become coach of the Antibes Sharks in France. He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract until June 2023 with Antibes.

Goethals started his coaching career in women’s basketball with Namur , Waregem and in the national teams. Then he coached Kangoeroes and Mons-Hainaut before heading to Neufchatel in 2019.

“It is an honor to join the French Pro B and a historic club like Antibes. I am extremely motivated to take on this new challenge“, Antibes is currently 14th in the French Pro B championship.
