Former Antwerp player signs with Euroleague team (VIDEOS)

Kevin Punter played the end of the 2016-2017 season with Antwerp to replace the injured Corey Hawkins. In 16 games with the Giants, he showed off his offensive skills, averaging almost 12 points per game.

In 2018-2019 he won the BCL with Virtus Bologna when the Final Four was in Antwerp. He was also named Final Four MVP.

For the 2019-2020 season he first signed with Olympiakos, but he was released in December. The he signed with Crvena Zvezda, Corey Walden’s new team. With the Serbian team he averaged 16 points per game in Euroleague, including a game winning shot against Ismael Bako’s team (see below), showing that he can be an important player at the highest level in Europe.

For the 2020-2021, Punter decided to sign for Milano and legendary coach Ettore Messina.
