Melco Ieper fused together with Blue Cats Ieper to form Basket SKT Ieper and announce new player (video)
TDM1 club Melco Ieper and their female counterparts Blue Cats Ieper had been in fusion talks for quite some time and have now formed the new club Basket SKT Ieper.
Along with the new name comes a new logo wich they presented yesterday in a livestream on their facebook page.
Besides revealing the new club name and logo they also announced the signing of a new player for their TDM1 team with 26 year old and 2m04 tall Power Forward Pape Mbaye.
For Mbaye it’s a return to our country as he had already played at CEP Fleurus during the 2016-’17 season. These past 3 seasons Mbaye had been active in Spain with CB Tarragona (LEB).
