The start of the EuroMillions Basketball League season has been postponed until weekend of November 7 !

The EMBL announced that the season will start 1 month later than planned. The season was planned to start October 2. This decision has been taken “following the travel restrictions on a European level that are still in place for travel from outside the EU for a large number of countries, including the United States, the heightened restrictive measures taken by the National Security Council and the local ban on contact sports in several regions” according to the press release.

“The evolution of the pandemic and the consequent decisions taken on a European, national and local level, currently do not allow our clubs to properly prepare the season. We had developed a scenario allowing us to move to the beginning of November, which has now been activated.”, says Arthuer Goethals the Pro Basketball League president.
