Cade Cunningham – NBA Mock Draft No. 1 Pick
Cade Cunningham appears in his college debut for the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a 75-68 win over the UT Arlington Mavericks. The point guard recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, including 3 assists.
In a post-game interview, the 19-year-old said of his debut performance: “I think me personally, I know I competed hard. I’ve got to take care of the ball a little better than what I did, but other than that, just my effort and my competitiveness, I think that was the best thing for me.”
In 2020, the Arlington, Texas native was named Naismith Prep Player of the Year, MaxPreps National Player of the Year and McDonald’s All-American. Cunningham also participated in the prestigious Jordan Brand Classic and Nike Hoop Summit in the same year.
Cunningham’s all-around game has impressed scouts and NBA insiders. He’s widely regarded to be the top pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
