The Belgian Cats have won the bronze medal at the Eurobasket Women after the win against Belarus this Sunday (69-77) . This equals the best result ever in a EuroBasket for the Cats, after the bronze medal at the EuroBasket 2017.
As often always, Emma Meesseman was unguardable: she recorded 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists while Antonia Delaere was also dominant with 17 points (8/9 from the floor)
The Cats will now enjoy a very little rest before playing the Olympics. Philippe Mestdagh’s team will play against Australia on 27 July 2021.
