Philadelphia defeated Washington 141-136, despite the strong performance of Bradley Beal, who scored 60 points. For the 76ers, Joel Embiid scored 38 points. With his 60 points, Beal broke his personal best, two points off the season record set by Stephen Curry. It’s the 5th win in a row for the 76ers.
The Clippers won at Golden State (101-108). After his amazing performance against the Blazers, Stephen Curry was limited to 13 points. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both scored 21 points for the Clippers. Frenchman Nicolas Batum was decisive in the money time. With this sixth victory, the Clippers are positioned just behind the Lakers and Phoenix in the Western Conference standing.
The Celtics defeated Miami (105-107). Rookie Payton Pritchard scored the decisive bucket with only 2 seconds to play. Jayson Tatum scored 27 points for Boston, Jimmy Butler had 26 points for the Heat.
