The Leuven Bears have announced their latest additions for next season and are now complete with 9 professional players on their roster.
After the re-signing of Hugh Robertson, Brandan Stith and Joshua Heath during the season and with Seppe D’espallier, Luka Kotrulja and Joris Fauconnier still under contract, Leuven has now also extended Jonas Delalieux’ contract for another season and has added two newcomers with Ziga Fifolt and Thibault Vanderhaegen.
Ziga Fifolt is a Slovenian 2m11 tall big man who has spent most of his career in the Slovenian first division. These past 2 seasons he competed for Krka Novo Mesto where last season he averaged 4.0 ppg & 3.1 rpg in 12.6 mpg.
Their second and final acquisition is Belgian Forward Thibault Vanderhaegen who has spent the past 2 seasons playing for Den Helder in the Dutch First Division. Last season Vanderhaegen averaged a solid 13.0 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1.3 apg, 1.3 spg & 1.0 bpg in 28.7 mpg.
This 9-man roster will be further completed with their own youth players.
